Finance Manager, Esperance | Great Southern
Chris has over 17 years of banking experience across a range of disciplines including business banking at a regional and corporate level in Australia with a strong focus on agribusiness.
Chris has a decade of experience specialising in the agribusiness sector in Esperance and the Great Southern. This includes managing and analysing cropping, livestock, and pastoral farming businesses, servicing the requirements of family run farming businesses through to large corporatised agribusiness enterprises, both pre and post farmgate.
Experience in financing Carbon Sequestration Projects, in particular Human Induced Regeneration (HIR).
Experience working with pastoralists on Eligible Interest Holder Consents required under Carbon Sequestration Agreements.
Experience across Interest Rate Risk Management, Commodity Hedging, Cash Flow budgeting, Year in Year out modelling.

Majority of this time has been spent working with businesses within Kalgoorlie Boulder community to help grow and meet their financial goals. Kurtis understands that finance is not just about money but relationships as well, he is passionate about customer service.
He prides himself on his local community engagement being an active management committee member of the Kalgoorlie Boulder Chamber of Commerce, committee member and Junior Coach at North Kalgoorlie Cricket Club as well as Commissioner with the Goldfields Football League.
Kurtis is a dedicated family man being married with three children.
